Mini 2 Coin Jade Necklace

 Jade is considered the diamond of the East. Worn for centuries to adorn, these necklaces are meant to make you feel like a diamond for life.

The Chinese lucky coins have been around for centuries. Historically the round shape of the coin represented heaven and the square space in the middle represented Earth. Meaning we are living between Heaven and Earth as humans.

Vietnam was under Chinese rules from 111BC until AD968. The use of these coins were established during this time and after the Tang Dynasty, the presence of coins similar to these were established under new rule.

Today, they are used as ornaments in celebratory decor for special events like Vietnamese New Year (Tết) or charms to bring in peace, prosperity, wealth, abundance, and is used in feng shui to bring peace into physical spaces as well.

Made with surgical grade stainless steel, these necklace chains are anti-tarnish and won't discolor when worn daily or exposed to water and chemicals.

• all the chains are made of surgical grade stainless steel and can be worn daily, withstanding heat, moisture, and chemicals. HOWEVER-
• do not expose the lucky coins in water of any kind- that includes any coin that is attached to a necklace, bracelet, or earrings. they are prone to discoloration if not properly taken care of.
• the gold and silver wire used to wrap the pendants may discolor over time without proper care:

About Stainless Steel [by our suppliers]:

Our 304 food grade and 316L surgical grade stainless steel are lead-free but 304 steel may contain a very low amount of nickel to reduce brittleness and improve strength depending on the item.

Its resistance to rust and its ability to keep discoloration at bay, even when it encounters humidity or harsh chemicals, is noteworthy. Moreover, its hypoallergenic properties offer peace of mind for those with delicate skin.

This chain was made with 304 food-grade stainless steel which is widely used on houseware so it is generally considered safe for most people.

About PVD plating [by our suppliers]:

PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating, also known as thin-film coating, is a process in which a solid material is vaporized in a vacuum and deposited onto the surface of a part. These coatings are not simply metal layers though. Instead, compound materials are deposited atom by atom, forming a thin, bonded, metal or metal-ceramic surface layer that greatly improves the appearance, durability, and/or function of a part or product.

We are using PVD coating technology on our jewelry finds. This coating will make the jewelry last significantly longer than conventional gold-plated jewelry. It is not going to tarnish in sweat, perfume, or bleach. Also, it wouldn't turn green.
